Product Highlight~Ergo Baby Carrier
Today I want to discuss one of my all time favorite baby carriers. I own 2 ergo baby carriers and I love them both! Once again this company was founded by a mama who needed a baby carrier that she was not finding on the market, so she decided to design her own. She longed for the material to be soft and flexible, while still maintaining structure. She was also looking to keep her baby close to her body while making sure that the design was ergonomically friendly. That is how the original design of the Ergo Baby Carrier became a reality back in 2002. There are 5 categories on the Ergo Baby website and over 30 carriers available. These carriers are able to hold toddlers up to 45 pounds. There are various infant insert and carrier options as well.
Now, to give you some context, I am 5’6. A common complaint I get from fellow moms and clients alike, is that these carriers are too long or bulky for those that are not as tall as I am. My nanny is only 5’2 and she used to wear my babies in this carrier with no issues. There are several adjustments that can be made for this carrier to fit people of all heights. There are options that are slightly more compact as well. I encourage every woman to give Ergo Baby Carriers a try. These carriers can be used in several different ways depending on which one you choose. Babies can be worn on your back or front. They can be facing out or towards you. They have several different adjustments for babies legs, which ensures both their hip safety as well as comfort for the wearer and the baby. These carriers are great options for dad too!
For moms on the go and moms of multiple kids these carriers are life savers. There were days where my babies were sick or just needing extra love, and it was always the days that I had a laundry list of things to get done. I would strap on the Ergo Baby and just let my babies do the house work with me. When my oldest was teething getting her down for naps was a challenge. On those days, I would let her sleep strapped to me in the Ergo Carrier. I have included a picture of my youngest I the carrier taking a break from helping me cook Thanksgiving dinner. There are a lot of options when it comes to baby carriers, and I do believe in trying them on to get a feel for what will work best for you. For me, these carriers are the most comfortable and ergonomic on the market!
